Scrapbook no. 1 contains 28 items, including an invitation to the wedding of Althea Augusta Labagh and Joshua Thomas Jones, 1876; lease of "Town Lands" to Townsend and Walter R. T. Jones and Dr. Oliver Jones, 1883; obituaries ot Townsend Jones, 1891; bank drafts and notes, 1823-1843; counterfeit money; and news clippings. Papers in scrapbook no. 2 include an insurance policy for the ship Haughton, 1780; an invitation to J. T. Jones to attend the 250th anniversary celebrtion of the Town of Huntington, 1903; photographs, coat of arms of J.D. Jones, at-home cards of Miss Mary Elzabeth Hewlett, clippings, souvenir programs, and a picture of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences; menu for the Fifth Annual Dinner of the Icthyophagous Club, 1884; notes and receipts, 1836-1849; letters to Oliver Jones, 1832-1846; catalog of the Boston Aquarial and Zoological Gardens, 1861; and letter from Wm. Moores of John A. McSorley & Sons, N.Y. to the Hon. Charles Fairchild, Secretary of the Treasury, Washington, D.C., 1888.
